Pillow Brands
You've had your fair share of pillows after all the years of using them for the bedroom and elsewhere in the home that needs a cushion. We all know that pillows are traditionally used in bed for comfort and to support proper posture in sleep. However, the minute details in pillows that create an overall tone for a room may have passed your discernment.
Have you noticed a sofa or couch without throw pillows? It looks bare, no matter how grandiose the furniture's finish is, doesn't it? On the other, sleeping with just a pillow under you head still doesn't quite spell comfort, which is why we buy more than one pillow to experience the cradling effect these fluffy things bring.
For aesthetics reasons, there are such things we call decorative pillows. We place them on sofas, on the floor, or even in the bedroom – but you don't normally sleep on them. They are simply placed there to add glamour, for which they are pretty chic items. Changing the mood of your room in the style that you want is just a matter of changing pillows or pillowcases, a smart and economical way than giving a room a total makeover.
The important matter in choosing decorative pillows is the style while the brand name of pillow should come next. After all, it's never a guarantee that an unfamiliar pillows brand name cannot equal or surpass what famous brands have in offering. You can also take inspiration from hotel themes and find out what hotel down pillows brands are.
If you want to capture that hotel aura in your home, the first thing you can do the least is imitate the type of fabric used mostly in world-famous hotels and resorts. You can do that by observance, which probably means going from one hotel to another, or read further and see what hotels like The Marriott or the Ritz Carlton hotels are using for their hotel rooms beddings and lobby sofas.

The Marriott Hotels, meanwhile, commonly uses Down Surround types of pillows in 100% cotton barrier weave cover, similar to the pillows used in The Ritz Carlton.
Just the same, you can find equivalents using 95/5 feather down Interior Chamber or 70/30 Feather down Outer Chamber in 100% cotton, and a 230 thread count barrier weave cover. Similarly, the Westin Hotels and Resorts as well as Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts use European goose feather and down combination for their pillows. European goose down is quite popular especially the Hungarian goose down because of their distinct softness.
