The Marriott Hotels, meanwhile, commonly uses Down Surround types of pillows in 100% cotton barrier weave cover, similar to the pillows used in The Ritz Carlton.

Just the same, you can find equivalents using 95/5 feather down Interior Chamber or 70/30 Feather down Outer Chamber in 100% cotton, and a 230 thread count barrier weave cover. Similarly, the Westin Hotels and Resorts as well as Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts use European goose feather and down combination for their pillows. European goose down is quite popular especially the Hungarian goose down because of their distinct softness.

There are several pillow brands with pillows created primarily for decorative purposes but as soon as you buy them, you'll soon discover their other purposes. Different pillow brands may be using similar filling for the pillows but consumers has to be aware that pillows need to conform with the different sleeping positions.

Aside from the sizes (standard, queen, king), certain pillows are specifically designed for side sleepers, stomach sleepers, and back sleepers to provide different levels of support to the head, neck, and spine. If you're looking for pillows to use in your bedroom, first assess your preferences before even buying them.

Some pillow brands can be very expensive especially when the designer pillows such as Ralph Lauren, among others. Come to think of it, if it's the style that concerns you most, buy the less expensive ones but stylish and with high quality. After all, it's the pillow you should be buying, not the brand.
